It's been 40 years since the partnership between Princeton University Students and the Dillon Gym Youth Basketball League began...let's celebrate!

* There will be a pizza party for coaches and current players prior to the game

* Princeton men's basketball vs. Columbia at 6

* Dillon League baksetball players and their coaches will be recognized at halftime

* Interactive games in the Family FUNZONE throughout the game

* Postgame autographs with the Princeton men's basketball team

Fun Facts

* Started in 1971 by Jack Roberts and Sam Howell after a brainstorming session with a goal of interacting the university with the community

* Back in 1971 all of the teams were sponsored by the eating clubs at Princeton

* In the 1970's all four courts would be going on at the same time as participation was high

* Many site the emergance of the Dream Team as really growing the interest in the Dillon League

* 15 years ago 4,000 kids had participated in the Dillon League

* In 1996 there were 192 kids in the league that year

* 45 students were coaching 15 years ago

* 10,000 participants have played over 40 YEARS

* 560 game dates over 40 YEARS

* 7,840 games played over 40 YEARS

* 250,880 minutes have been played over 40 YEARS
