Description of Levels
Toddlers: This class is an orientation to the aquatic environment. It helps children feel comfortable in the water with the help of their parent. *Each child must be accompanied by 1 adult during the lesson.

Preschool: This is an introductory level and is designed to making swimmers comfortable in the water without a parent. It focuses on teaching them how to have fun and stay safe.

Adult Beginner: This is an introductory level for adults. It will help establish a comfort level in the water as well as the basics of freestyle and backstroke.
Adult Beginner Intermediate: This level is for those between the beginner swimmer level and a lap swimmer. It is will help in becoming a more proficent swimmer.
Adult Intermediate: The intermediate class is designed for those who are comfortable swimming laps. It focuses on reviewing and improving technique in freestyle and backstroke as well as introducing elementary backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.

**New** AQUA FITNESS CLASSES
A fun, low-impact workout, in the water. This class focuses on increasing flexibility, balance and core strengthening. It's a perfect workout for all ages! Class takes place in the wading pool (3-4 foot area.) Water shoes are recommended, but not required.

Times and dates of lessons are determined based on individual participant as well as instructor and pool availability. Lessons are subject to change, based on Dillon Pool availability. Please check the detailed pool schedule at the top of the page.
Changes to regularly scheduled lessons need to be done 24 hours in advance. Any changes after that point will be charged as a lesson. All no-shows will be charged.
Lesson schedules generally coincide with the Princeton University Academic Calender.
