Ryan Boyle announced his retirement after 11 seasons as one of the cornerstones on which Major League Lacrosse was built.
Boyle retires as the league's all-time leader in assists with 272 and third all-time in points with 449. He is also second all-time in posteason points with 37 and was a part of four championship teams, three with the Philadelphia Barrage and one with the Boston Cannons.
A 2004 Princeton graduate, Boyle is second all-time at Princeton in assists (162) and points (233). He assisted on the game-winning goal in overtime of the 2001 NCAA championship game as a freshman and led Princeton to three Final Fours while being a two-time first-team All-America and two-time Ivy League Player of the Year.
