A recap of Princeton athletic events from Saturday, Nov. 21:
MEN'S BASKETBALL: Princeton 75, Saint Peter's 72
Henry Caruso had a career-high 23 points as the return to Dillon Gym went Princeton's way, 75-72. Amir Bell added 12 points and a career-high nine rebounds in the win as the Tigers never trailed.
MEN'S WATER POLO: Princeton 10, Harvard 8
Princeton advanced to Sunday's CWPA Championship final with a 10-8 win over Harvard Saturday evening.
FENCING: Women 4-2, Men 2-3 at Penn Elite Invitational
The fencing teams opened their season Saturday at Penn's Elite Invitational, with the women winning four of their six matches and the men two of five. Ashley Tsue led the women with 15 wins while Rodney Chen led the men with 11 wins.
WRESTLING: Princeton wins Navy Classic
Princeton won the 10-team Navy with 139 points to capture its first team title at the event and had four individual champions, among them Abram Ayala at 184 and Brett Harner at 197.
MEN'S HOCKEY: Princeton 3, No. 20 Clarkson 0
Princeton had a goal in each period to beat Clarkson with Max Véronneau, Eric Robinson and Kyle Rankin scoring for the Tigers. Junior Colton Phinney earned his first career shutout in a 3-0 win over No. 20 Clarkson.
WOMEN'S HOCKEY: No. 4 Clarkson 3, No. 10 Princeton 0
Senior Kimberly Newell made a career-high 48 saves for the No. 10 Princeton women's hockey team, which fell 3-0 to No. 4 Clarkson, who tacked on two empty-net goals in the final two minutes.
MEN'S SQUASH: Franklin & Marshall 5, Princeton 4
Princeton got wins from three freshmen, as well as former Ivy Rookie of the Year Vivek Dinodia, but it couldn't get another victory in a 5-4 road loss to Franklin & Marshall.
WOMEN'S SWIMMING/DIVING: Princeton sweeps Cornell, Penn
Princeton opened a full home season, which will include hosting the Ivy championships, with team victories over both Cornell and Penn. Junior Lisa Li clinched a spot in the NCAA Zone Diving Championships in both the 1- and 3-meter events.
MEN'S SWIMMING/DIVING: Princeton sweeps Cornell, Penn
Princeton won both relays and claimed the majority of the individual victories, including multiple wins for sophomore Corey Okubo, to open its Ivy League season with two convincing wins.
FOOTBALL: Dartmouth 17, Princeton 10
Princeton sacked Dalyn Williams seven times and shut the Big Green out in the first half, but the Big Green scored on a 12-yard screen pass in the final minute to win 17-10 and clinch a share of the Ivy League title.
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: 21st at NCAA Championships; 8th at ECACs
Junior Lizzie Bird guided the Princeton women's cross country team to a 21st-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championship in Louisville, Ky. Earlier in the day, the younger Tigers took eighth at the ECAC Championships at Van Cortlandt Park.
