Princeton ?97 Voted NCAA Champion Of Champions, To Be Honored At Final Four

It's 18 years later, and the 1997 Princeton men's lacrosse team still can't lose.
The 1997 Tigers defeated four opponents to win the NCAA's Champion of Champions, a three-week online contest that asked lacrosse fans to vote in a bracket that matched the 16 best teams of all-time. Princeton won 55% of the vote in the final round, defeating the 2012 Loyola Greyhounds.
As a result of its win, the team will be honored on the field during the 2015 NCAA chamionship game at Lincoln Financial Field this coming Memorial Day.
Princeton finished 1997 with an unblemished 15-0 record and earned second of three straight NCAA National Championships.Princeton defeated Maryland, 19-7, for the national title in what remains the largest margin of victory in a Division I lacrosse championship game.
Princeton reached a self-imposed 19-goal limit five times in 15 games and outscored its Ivy League opponents 98-33 in six games. At season's end, Princeton roster included 10 All-Americas and 13 All-Ivy selections.
Its All-America attack of Jesse Hubbard, Jon Hess and Chris Massey combined for 112 goals and 77 assists for 199 points.
