Kang, Osborne Wrap Up Ivy Careers With One More All-League Honor
March 19, 2015 | Men's Squash
In 2012, they were the lone freshmen to start on Princeton's historic CSA national team champion, which ended Trinity's 13-year title reign. They are linked together again as seniors, as both Samuel Kang and Tyler Osborne were named to the 2015 All-Ivy League team.
Kang went 10-6, 4-3 in the Ivy League, as the No. 1 player for Princeton during the regular season. He reached the CSA quarterfinals, where he fell to eventual finalist Osama Khalifa of Columbia. Osborne was 15-1, 7-0 in the Ivy League, as the No. 2 player for Princeton, but he suffered a first-round upset at the individual championships.
The duo helped Princeton win two Ivy League championships (2012, 2013) during their careers, and they served as mentors to a solid group of younger players who will lead the team moving forward.
