Currier's Hopkins Performance Earns Honors From USILA, NCAA.com

Zach Currier opened the eyes of the entire lacrosse world with his performance last Saturday in Princeton's 16-15 win over Johns Hopkins.
As could be expected, the accolades continue to come his way.
In additon to being the Ivy League Player of the Week, Currier has named been named the USILA Offensive Player of the Week and the NCAA.com Offensive Player of the Week.
Currier is being honored after his monster performance against the Blue Jays. He had two goals and three assists for a career-high five points. He also won 6 of 8 face-offs and had a game-best eight ground balls. He won the face-off to start the overtime and drew a delay-of-game penalty against Hopkins at the same time.
Currier and the 10th-ranked Tigers are at No. 9 Maryland Saturday (noon face-off, WPRB FM 103.3). Princeton and Maryland have not met in the regular season since 1977, though they have played six NCAA tournament games since. The Tigers went 5-1 in those games, including the 1997 and 1998 championship games.
Maryland is 3-1, including a loss to Yale and a win over Penn.
