McDonell Scores Twice as No. 9 Princeton Tops Dartmouth 4-1

HANOVER, N.H. (1/29/16) - Senior Jaimie McDonell scored twice as the No. 9 Princeton women's hockey team defeated Dartmouth 4-1 to win its 12th consecutive game on Friday afternoon at Thompson Arena.
With the victory the Tigers improve to 17-4-1 overall and 10-4-1 in the ECAC. Princeton remains tied for second in the ECAC standings, along with Clarkson, with 21 points apiece. Princeton is first in the Ivy League standings with a 7-1 record and a six-point lead over tomorrow's opponent Harvard - though the Tigers have played two more games.
Trailing 1-0 after a Laura Stacey goal it was Princeton leading scorer Karlie Lund that got the offense started.

In the midst of a program record, Princeton looks to keep things rolling tomorrow when it faces off with Harvard at Bright-Landry Hockey Center at 4 p.m. Receiving votes in the national poll, the Crimson dropped a 1-0 game to No. 4 Quinnipiac this afternoon.
