Currier, Ambler Named To Tewaaraton Trophy Watchlist

Zach Currier and Ryan Ambler, who combined for 12 points in Princeton's opening day win, are both represented on the Tewaaraton Trophy watchlist. The Tewaaraton Trophy is awarded each year by the Tewaaraton Foundation to the top male and female player in college lacrosse.
Ambler, Princeton's leading returning scorer, and Currier, a do-everything middie who had career highs in goals and points in Week 1, are two of the 50 players represented on the watchlist. The list of 50 could be expanded during the season before being cut to 25 on April 28.
Currier had four goals and three assists against NJIT in Princeton's 21-4 win last Saturday. Ambler had two goals and three assists as he continues his move towards the top 10 all-time at Princeton in both points and assists.
Princeton is at Hofstra Saturday at 3.
