No. 14 Lewis Claims 3-0 Win Over Men's Volleyball

Despite strong offensive efforts from senior Devin Stearns and sophomore Kendall Ratter, the Princeton men's volleyball team fell to 14th-ranked Lewis in three tight sets to complete a two-game Chicago trip Wednesday night.
Lewis, the reigning NCAA finalist, took the opening set 25-20, but then was pushed through the final sets. After a 25-22 win, the two teams went deep into the third before the hosts escaped with a 30-28 win.
Ratter had one of his most efficient nights, hitting .412 with 10 kills, and he added three digs, a block and a service ace. Stearns added 10 kills and five blocks, while Mike Fuerst came off the bench and provided five kills without a single error (.455). Middle Billy Andrew led the defense with six blocks, and he added five kills.
The junior tandem of Jonah May (19) and Chris Kennedy (15) paced the offense with 34 assists, while freshman Corry Short had a team-best six digs.
