NJIT Completes Home-And-Home Sweep With 3-1 Win Over Princeton Volleyball

Sophomore Kendall Ratter led the Tigers with 12 kills, while junior Chris Kennedy added 33 assists, but the Princeton men's volleyball team fell to 3-6 in the EIVA when NJIT rallied for a 3-1 win in Newark.
Princeton, which dropped a controversial 3-2 match to NJIT Tuesday night in Dillon Gym, came out strong for a 25-23 win in the opener, but the Highlanders (6-3 EIVA) bounced back to take the match with wins of 25-20, 25-19, 25-21.
Sophomore Mike Fuerst continues the best stretch of volleyball in his career, as he recorded 11 kills and a pair of blocks, while senior Devin Stearns had 10 kills and a team-high seven digs. Senior Alex Schindele-Murayama had a team-best five blocks, while Billy Andrew had six kills and two blocks.
Princeton will play its final home matches of the season this weekend, beginning Friday night with a showdown against nationally ranked Penn State.
