Men's Squash Team Leaves Providence With 8-1 Win Over Brown

The Princeton men's squash team picked up its first Ivy League win of the season in impressive fashion Sunday afternoon in Providence, R.I. The Tigers won eight individual matches, including six by 3-0 scores, in an 8-1 win at Brown.
Princeton got an impressive performance from its freshman class, which went 4-0 and won all 12 individual games. The 1-2 punch of Adhitya Raghavan and Gabriel Morgan won the top two matches on the ladder, while both Shehab Thabet (6) and Henry Parkhurst (9) added 3-0 wins.
Sophomore Cody Cortes remained perfect in the Ivy League in a 3-0 win at No. 3, while classmate Spencer Anton won in three games at the fourth spot.
Senior co-captain Ben Leizman and junior Komron Shayegan were both pushed to a fourth game, but each grabbed wins at the seventh and eighth spots.
The Tigers will return to the court Friday in Ithaca, N.Y., when they take on Cornell.
