The Princeton men's lacrosse team is ranked 15th in this week's USILA coaches' poll and 17th in this week's media poll.
The Tigers, who are 5-3 overall and 1-1 in the Ivy League, will host Brown Saturday at 1 on Sherrerd Field. The Bears are 1-0 in the league, one of two unbeatens, along with 2-0 Yale.
In addition, Princeton continues to do well in the NCAA and Ivy League statistical rankings.
The Tigers as a team rank first in Division I in team shooting percentage, at .389. Brown, by the way, is tied for seventh, at .338.
Princeton is ranked in the top six in Division I in six different statistical categories: shooting percentage (first), saves per game (second), points per game (fourth), assists per game (fourth), scoring offense (fifth) and man-up offense (sixth).
Individually, Tyler Blaisdell leads the Ivy League in save percentage, saves per game and goals-against average. Ranking in the top 10 nationally are: Blaisdell in saves per game (second) and save percentage (10th), Michael Sowers in assists per game (fourth) and points per game (sixth), Zack Currier in ground balls per game (seventh) and Gavin McBride in goals per game (eighth) and man-up goals (fifth).
On the other hand, Princeton ranks 69th of 69 teams in Division I in clearing percentage.
Currier enters the game Saturday with 95 career points, looking to follow McBride to the 100-point mark, one game after McBride did so against Yale last Friday.
