McBride, Goldstein Named USILA Scholar All-Americas

Gavin McBride and Bear Goldstein earned two prestigious academic honors in two days.
McBride and Goldstein, the 2017 Princeton men's lacrosse team captains, picked up their diplomas Tuesday and then added USILA Scholar All-America honors when the team was announced Wednesday.
McBride, who led Division I in goals scored per game and set the Princeton single-season record with 54 goals this past season, graduated with a degree in sociology. He finished his career with 104 goals, 11th-best in program history.
Goldstein, whose degree is in psychology, was a four-year starting defenseman and three-time All-Ivy League selection. He finished his senior year as a first-team All-Ivy pick.
