No. 18 Princeton Advances To NWPC Title Game With Comeback Thriller over St. Francis-Brooklyn, 9-7

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 18 Princeton Tigers' strong fourth quarter pushed them over the St. Francis-Brooklyn Terriers, 9-7, in the Northeast Water Polo Conference Semifinal at Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Tigers move on to the NWPC Championship Game vs. the winner of Brown and Harvard. It's the second straight season that Princeton reached the title contest, losing to the Crimson in double overtime in 2017.
Princeton found itself trailing early in the matchup, down, 2-0, five minutes in. St. Francis-Brooklyn led, 3-1, after the first quarter. Casey Conrad and Alec Mendelsohn scored consecutive goals for the Tigers as the second stanza wrapped up to tie the score at 4-4 at the intermission.
Each team held the lead at some point in the third stanza with this tally from Conrad putting the Tigers in front, 6-5.
A goal from the Terriers with 17 seconds to go tied the matchup for a third time heading into the fourth frame.
This goal from Michael Swart with 6:52 left proved to be the game-winner …

Mitchell Cooper and Conrad registered goals 45 seconds apart to extend the Tigers' advantage to three, 9-6.
