Lyft Becomes First Rideshare Partner of Princeton Athletics

Princeton Athletics and Lyft have announced a partnership for the 2018-19 season that will make Lyft the first ever "Official Rideshare Partner of Princeton Athletics." In an agreement with the university's media rights holder IMG College (Princeton Athletics-IMG), the partnership will aim to improve the fan experience throughout the 2018-19 season, with a new designated drop-off and pick-up zone for fans and discount codes for new users.
The partnership is in effect for all Princeton football games at Princeton Stadium, as well as for Tigers basketball games at Jadwin Gymnasium. The drop off location for football and basketball games will be conveniently located near Visitor Lot 21.
"Providing a safe, convenient and fun environment for our fans is imperative," said Ford Family Director of Athletics Mollie Marcoux Samaan '91. "We are thrilled to align with Lyft as a leader in their industry to offer this special game-day service during the 2018-19 season and we look forward to an exciting partnership ahead."

"Tiger fans can now depend on Lyft for rides to and from games with new designated drop-off and pick-up zones that will help better navigate among the crowds of fans to find their ride quickly."
In addition to dedicated drop-off/pick-up locations, Lyft will have visibility at Princeton football, basketball, and lacrosse home contests, impressions on Princeton's digital media outlets, and will engage fans via on-site activations. Princeton Athletics and Lyft will run several incentive programs and giveaways for attendees utilizing the service throughout the year.
In order to use Lyft, Princeton fans must download the Lyft app to their mobile device. For a limited time, new users will receive $5.00 off each of the first three rides when downloading the Lyft app using promo code "GOTIGERS18".
Single game tickets for all six home games at Princeton Stadium are on sale now and season ticket packages will be available later this week. To purchase tickets, click here or call 609-258-4TIX (4849) for more information.
