June 11, 2018 | Men's Lacrosse
Tyler Blaisdell and Austin Sims need to do a little updating to their resumes.
The two recent Princeton graduates were named USILA Scholar All-Americans, it was announced Monday. The two four-year starters were both politics majors.
Blaisdell and Sims were both multiple-time All-Ivy League selections, and each earned first-team All-Ivy during his career. Sims was also a third-team All-America and the 20 pick in the Major League Lacrosse draft this year.
Blaisdell started the final 47 games of his career in goal for the Tigers, and he finished his career seventh all-time in saves in program history. Sims, an offensive middie his last three years after playing defensive midfield as a freshman, finished with 82 goals and 29 assists for 111 points. He was also the captain of the gold medal-winning US team at the 2016 U-19 championships and of the Tigers this past spring.
