The Princeton men's and women's squash teams will return from the exam break Wednesday night for a pair of crucial Ivy League showdowns with local rival Penn. The men will open competition with a 5 pm showdown against the top-ranked Quakers, while the #1 Princeton women will follow against the fifth-ranked Quakers.
The top five courts Wednesday night are scheduled to be streamed live on ESPN+, and all links can be found above.
The Princeton men, which moved to #8 in the latest CSA rankings, opened Ivy League competition with a 1-1 road weekend. The Tigers handled Brown 8-1, but their push at Yale the following day fell short in a 6-3 loss. The Tigers will be looking to recapture a bit of their magic from a 2018 road win at Penn, when key wins from returning starters Adhitya Raghavan, Cody Cortes and Duncan Joyce helped the visitors pull off the 5-4 upset. That victory remains the highest-ranked win for Princeton since 2013, though that mark would be easily topped if the Tigers can defend Jadwin against a Penn team that is currently ranked #1.
The Princeton women grabbed the #1 ranking following a 5-4 win over Trinity; the strength of schedule from that win moved Princeton past the also-undefeated Harvard Crimson, though those teams will meet Saturday at Jadwin. Princeton has topped Penn in back-to-back years and will look to remain perfect in Ivy play Wednesday against a Penn team that has won seven of nine matches and is led by reigning individual champion Reeham Sedky.
