Fencing Teams Set to Open Season Saturday at Penn

The Princeton fencing teams are set to open the 2019-20 season with a day of bouts at the Penn Elite Invitational Saturday.
Each Princeton team will have five bouts on the day. The men will face three other teams that ended the season in the CollegeFencing360.com top five, in No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 3 Harvard and No. 4 Penn State. The Tiger men ended last season ranked fifth in that poll.
The women, who ended the season receiving votes for the top 10, will take on four top-five teams from that final ranking, in No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 3 Penn State, No. 4 Harvard and No. 5 Northwestern.
From last year's NCAA Championships, the Tigers return junior épée and NCAA semifinalist Tatijana Stewart, junior saber and NCAA finalist Daniel Kwak, sophomore foil Cameron Levy, and senior épée Wesley Yuan.
