Chris Brown Continues HIstoric Start To His Career

Chris Brown has very quietly put together one of the most consistent starts to a career - and one of the best - of any Princeton men's lacrosse player ever.

Brown, the Princeton sophomore attackman, is the only active Division I player to have played at least 20 games in his career and to have at least one goal in every game. He's also one of just seven active Division I players to have at least one point in every game of his career, with a minimum of 20 games played. His teammate Michael Sowers is one of the other six.

Of course, the numbers that Sowers has put up in his career are otherworldly, and he naturally has overshadowed the accomplishments that Brown has achieved to date.

A year ago, Brown became the second Princeton player (along with Peter Trombino in 2004) to have have at least one goal in every game as a freshman, and he has extended his streak to 22 games now. Among active Division I players, that streak is the fourth-longest.

Brown now has 70 career points, on 42 goals and 28 assists. He's on pace for around 180 career points.

Princeton next plays Saturday at Stony Brook, with face-off on Long Island at 7.
