Huhmann Helps U.S. VNL Squad to 2-1 Weekend in Bulgaria

BULGARIA – George Huhmann helped the United States' FIVB Volleyball Nations League squad to a 2-1 record this weekend.
The United States fell to Bulgaria, 3-1, dropping the final two sets by the same 25-23 score. The group rebounded with a 3-1 victory over Serbia before a sweep over Iran. Huhmann recorded three kills against Bulgaria, nine more vs. Serbia, and six vs. Iran.
Brazil (14-1), Iran (12-3), Russia (12-3), France (11-4), Poland (11-4) and the United States (9-6) will take part in the VNL Finals in Chicago next week (July 10-14).
