No. 12 Princeton Tripped Up By No. 15 George Washington, 13-12

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 12 Princeton Tigers fell in a game that featured six lead changes and five ties to the No. 15 George Washington Colonials, 13-12, at DeNunzio Pool on Sunday afternoon.
The first quarter was played at a feverish pace with seven total goals. This tally by Casey Conrad gave the Tigers a 4-3 lead as the second frame got underway.
Litvak's squad welcomes Wagner (10 a.m.) and Navy (6 p.m.) to DeNunzio Pool next Saturday (Sept. 21). Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Colonials answered back with the first four tallies of the fourth quarter, taking a 13-10 advantage. Princeton made one more push with goals from Benson and Conrad while securing one final possession with 15 seconds remaining. Head coach Dustin Litvak called timeout and drew up a play, but the shot attempt hit the top bar allowing George Washington to escape with the win.Princeton 10, GW 9 | 2:07 3rd
