Kyla Sears Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON -- Junior attack Kyla Sears has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week following a dominant two-game stretch where she became the eighth player in program history to reach the 200-point mark. Her selection marks the seventh time in her career that she has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week.
Sears had nine goals and 13 total points in wins over Villanova and Columbia as the Tigers improved to 3-1 overall this season.
On Wednesday at 'Nova, she had five goals and two assists as Princeton picked up an 18-13 win. She followed that up with four goals and two assists to go with four ground balls as the Tigers scored a 19-7 win at Columbia to open the Ivy League season.
Her performance at Columbia on Saturday moved her to 202 career points, No. 8 all-time among Princeton players.
