MacDonald And Hughes Named IWLCA All-Americans

A pair of Princeton women's lacrosse players have been named IWLCA All-Americans as announced on May 21.
Senior Jami MacDonald has been named a second-team IWLCA All-American on attack, while senior goalkeeper Amelia Hughes has been named a third-team IWLCA All-American.
The 2026 Ivy League Attacker of the Year, MacDonald is a first-team All-American after a 2026 season that saw her score 49 goals and dish out 36 assists for 85 points. MacDonald's 85 points this season led the Ivy League and were eighth-most in a single season all-time by a Tiger. She will graduate with 274 career points which is No. 3 all-time by a Princeton player, 165 goals which rank No. 6 all-time by a Tiger and 109 assists which are No. 2 all-time by a Princeton player. She is the only player in school history with 150+ career goals and 100+ career assists.
Hughes earned her first career IWLCA All-American honor after a 2026 season where she was named Ivy League Co-Goalkeeper of the Year to make her a two-time Ivy Goalkeeper of the Year selection (2024). Hughes started all 18 games for the Tigers, playing 1,041 minutes. She led the Ivy League in saves (190), saves-per-game (10.6), and save percentage (.505) while ranking No. 3, No. 5, and No. 6 in the country in those categories as well. Over her four seasons, Hughes made 699 saves which ranks No. 2 all-time by a Princeton women's lacrosse player.
