Men’s Volleyball’s Huhmann Named AVCA All-America Honorable Mention

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Senior George Huhmann of the Princeton University men's volleyball team earned All-America Honorable Mention honors for the third time in his career Tuesday after the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its All-America teams.
Huhmann, who was also named to the All-Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) first team, garnered All-America Honorable Mention honors for the third-consecutive season.
The Uvaldo Acosta Memorial EIVA Player of the Year in 2019 and the EIVA Rookie of the Year in 2017, Huhmann garnered All-EIVA first team honors in each of his four seasons. Named EIVA Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, January 6, Huhmann joined the 1,000-kill club in the Tigers' match against the No. 2 University of California, Los Angeles on the same day. He led the EIVA in service aces per set with 0.56 and also ranked inside the top-five in points (243), points per set (4.42), kills (186), kills per set (3.38) and service aces (31). Huhmann had 11 matches with at least 10 kills.
