No. 12 Princeton Secures Split During Day 2 Of Julian Memorial Fraser Tournament

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The No. 12 Princeton Tigers secured a split during the second day of the Julian Memorial Fraser Tournament.
No. 12 Princeton 11, No. 19 Air Force 10
Joan Coloma's goal in the sudden death overtime gave Princeton its seventh win over a nationally ranked opponent.
Air Force raced out with four of the first five goals of the contest. Roko Pozaric's tally with eight seconds to go in the first half cut the Princeton deficit to three, 6-3. The Tigers once again trailed by three, 9-6, as the fourth quarter got underway. Pozaric and Keller Maloney closed the gap to one before Rozaric's tally just before time expired tied the contest at 9-all.
In the first three-minute session of overtime, Air Force got one on the board from Gavin Jones, but Wyatt Benson countered with a tally two minutes later. Coloma's game-winner came 31 seconds into the sudden death portion.

A tight-knit first quarter featured just two goals, one by Pozaric as the score was even at 1-all. The two teams exchanged goals before back-to-back tallies from Vladan Mitrovic and Maloney put Princeton ahead, 4-2, at halftime.
San Jose State's Mark Kis got the home squad within one as the third quarter came to close. The Spartans posted two of the next three tallies, tying the game at 6-all with 6:40 remaining. Bende Pardi scored on a 6v5 attempt to put San Jose State in front. The Spartans put the game away with goals less than a minute apart to go up three with 37 seconds left.
