Important Fan Attendance Updates For Indoor Athletic Events Beginning Nov. 1

PRINCETON, N.J. – Beginning November 1, attendance requirements for indoor events will be updated to ensure Princeton home events continue to be a positive and safe experience for all fans and visitors in attendance to cheer on the Tigers in the coming months.
Throughout the fall, attendees have completed a paper form attesting to their vaccination status upon entry to all indoor athletics events. As of November 1, this process will now be conducted digitally for all guests in attendance via the Princeton Tigers Athletics App to ensure an even smoother entry to home indoor athletic events on campus.
The app should be downloaded in advance to streamline entry to all indoor events. Directions for how to utilize the new process are as follows:
Instructions
1. Before arriving, open the App store on your phone (available on Apple and Android devices)
2. Search for "Princeton Athletics" and download the "Princeton Tigers Athletics App," powered by SuperFanU, Inc.
1. *If already at an athletics event, scan one of the QR codes available in the lobby
3. Create an account
4. Beginning up to an hour before the event you are attending, once onsite, click on the menu in the top right corner (three lines) and select Events
5. Find the event you are at
6. Click "check in now"
7. Show your screen to the public safety officer/ticket scanner
8. Enjoy the game!
*For anyone already with the app on their phone, they should proceed directly to step 4
*Guests should keep the app on their phone all season long to expedite entry each time they attend an athletics event
*By checking in to Princeton Athletics events, guests are also earning points that can be used to redeem rewards throughout the year!
*Please note attendees who are unable to download the app due to device limitations will be required to complete a paper attestation prior to entering the venue. Those guests should arrive early to avoid delays in entering the venue.

Children at Events
Additionally, beginning November 1 through December 31, children under the age of 12, who are unable to be vaccinated at this time will be permitted to attend University events under the following conditions:
· Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No groups with a chaperone.
· Must wear a face covering that fits tightly around their nose and mouth at all times inside the event venue. Children two-and-under are exempt from face coverings.
· May only be spectators. Any other activities must be held outdoors
· The rules for indoor spaces will be revisited once children 5-11 years old have had an opportunity to be fully vaccinated.
Attendance Policies
Fans who wish to attend home athletic events at Princeton will be required to follow the below protocols. These policies also apply to working members of the media covering events at Princeton. Fans and media wishing to attend contests away from Princeton should consult that institution's policies before traveling.
This policy is subject to change.
Indoor Athletic Events:
- The University's current visitor policy (found here) states that all visitors attending an indoor University-sponsored event, public performance, varsity and athletics event, and religious service must be vaccinated with no exceptions.
- Masking that covers the mouth and nose is required at all times regardless of vaccination status.
- Social distancing is recommended, when possible. Parties that arrive together can sit together.
- Hand sanitizer stations available inside the facilities.
- Unvaccinated children under 12 may be present at the event.
*Fully Vaccinated is defined as two weeks after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or two weeks after the single-dose vaccine
Outdoor Athletic Events:
- No masking required, but is recommended.
- Social distancing is recommended, when possible. Parties that arrive together can sit together.
- Hand sanitizer stations will be available.
