PRINCETON, N.J. – A trio of first year Princeton University men's volleyball student-athletes have been named to the prestigious Volleyball Magazine 2021 Boys Fab 50 presented by Academy Volleyball.
Nyherowo Omene, Aiden Benson and Matt Suh were the three Tigers featured in the Fab 50. The long-running list features the top 50 senior-age boys volleyball players in the country as voted on by an elite panel of NCAA Division I-II men's coaches (VolleyballMag.com has no input on the rankings).
"We are so proud of our guys getting this highly esteemed recognition from Volleyball Magazine," said Head Coach Sam Shweisky. "It is very prestigious and much appreciated. Now the real work begins to make projections and predictions turn into reality on the court. Head down, humility and hard work, here we come!"
Omene was named the No. 4 recruit in the nation. A 6'8'' outside/rightside, Omene attended Marist High School, played club volleyball at Sports Performance and is from Chicago, Illinois. Benson, a 6'7'' middle from St. Francis High School and a native of Wheaton, Illinois, also played club volleyball at Sports Performance. Suh is a 5'8'' libero from Santa Barbara, California. He attended Santa Barbara High School and played club volleyball at Santa Barbara Coast Academy.
