PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's volleyball team hosts its second home match of 2022 Saturday night when it takes on the No. 12 University of California, San Diego, inside Dillon Gymnasium.

Last Time Out
The Tigers came up just short against Daemen College Sunday afternoon inside Dillon Gymnasium, 3-2 (25-16, 25-21, 18-25, 18-25, 15-12).

Sophomore Ben Harrington led the Tigers in kills with 15 and the match in service aces with five, while first year Henry Wedbush handed out a team-high 28 assists. Senior Parker Dixon and Wedbush tied for the team-high in blocks with three, while first year Matt Suh tied the match-high in digs with 10.

Through Five Matches
Harrington leads the Tigers in kills per set (3.18), senior Joe Kelly in assists per set (6.38), and junior Brady Wedbush in service aces per set (0.70). Dixon is the team leader in digs per set (2.0), and sophomore Josh Coan in blocks per set (0.79).

Scouting No. 12 UC San Diego
The No. 12 Tritons are 2-1 in 2022, and also take on the New Jersey Institute of Technology (1-2) on Friday, January 28, at 3 p.m. in Newark, New Jersey.

Kyle McCauley leads No. 12 UC San Diego in kills per set (4.27) and service aces per set (0.45), while Blake Crisp leads the team in assists per set (10.45). Defensively, Matt Palma is the team-leader in digs per set (2.55), and Shane Benetz in blocks per set (1.09).

Princeton Athletics Attendance Policy Updates Through January 31
Princeton has announced it will be limiting spectators at indoor athletic events to Princeton students, faculty, and staff who are fully compliant with the University's COVID-19 protocols. This attendance restriction will begin immediately and extend through January 31.

Princeton Athletics will continue to work closely with University health and safety administrators to revisit welcoming back full spectator attendance for all winter events as soon as appropriate.

Princeton students, faculty, and staff who are fully compliant with the University's COVID-19 protocols may show their Princeton ID at the door to gain admission to athletics events from now through January 31.
