No. 6 Princeton Completes Weekend Sweep, Tops No. 6 Columbia

Taking eight of nine matches and seeing the lone match that didn't go No. 5 Princeton's way go the distance, the Tiger men's squash team was an 8-1 winner over No. 6 Columbia on Saturday in Jadwin Gym.
Youssef Ibrahim won his eighth match in a row, winning in three games on court one against Velavan Senthilkumar. Princeton won on all courts from three through nine, with wins coming from Daelum Mawji, Cole Becker, Thomas Rosini, Duncan Joyce, Alastair Cho, Howe Cheng and Zain Ahmed. Becker and Rosini each won in four games, responding to second-game wins from their Lion opponents with two straight wins to close out the match. The remaining five wins between courts three and nine were all in sweeps.
Princeton's win broke a run of two Columbia wins in the series since the Tigers' last win over Columbia in 2019.
The Tigers, now 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the Ivy, will host Penn on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Jadwin Gym to close out the league season.
