Monday Men's Lacrosse - Princeton Now Sixth In Polls; Chris Brown Updates

The Princeton men's lacrosse team is ranked sixth this week in both the USILA coaches poll and the Inside Lacrosse media poll and fourth in the USA Lacrosse Magazine poll. The Tigers have just come through a five-week run of games against teams ranked in the top eight of all three polls this week and went 3-2 in that stretch, with wins over Georgetown, Rutgers and Penn, all of whom are in the top five.
Princeton's next game is this coming Saturday at Brown, a team that has been ranked and is now receiving votes. Princeton has beaten Brown at Brown since 2012.
Speaking of Brown, Princeton's Chris Brown continues to move up the Princeton scoring list. With 90 goals and 50 assists for 140 points, he now stands tied for 20th in goals scored with Jack McBride. With four more, he'd move into a four-way tie for 17th; with 10 more he'd become Princeton's 14th 100-goal scorer.
He is also tied for 20th in career points with Gavin McBride, one behind Josh Sims. With 10 more points, he'd jump to 16th.
Brown leads Princeton in points (33) and assists (13) and is second in goals with 20. He also has his 20 goals on only 38 shots, for a shooting percentage of .526 that is fourth in Division I and first in the Ivy League. Brown also has at least one point in all 39 games of his career; only three Princeton players had at least one point in every game for four years - Kevin Lowe, Ryan Boyle and Michael Sowers.
