Ibrahim is coming off the Windy City Open in Chicago, taking world No. 1 Paul Coll to a fifth game on Wednesday night in his bid to win a PSA World Tour Platinum-level event title. Play will begin at 11:15 a.m. at the Arlen Specter Squash Center as Ibrahim opens against Yale's Nadav Raziel. Ibrahim enters the match having won 13 straight while playing for Princeton and has defeated each of the other top-three seeds in the draw during the regular season, with a five-game win over Harvard's second-seeded Victor Crouin on Jan. 16 and sweeping Penn's third-seeded Andrew Douglas on Feb. 5. Ibrahim's lone loss the season was to Virginia's Aly Hussein, seeded fourth, in five games in the season opener on Nov. 20.
Princeton players have won the top individual trophy 20 times, most recently when Todd Harrity '13 won it in 2011.
Ibrahim is one of five Tigers across the draws. Cole Becker, Zain Ahmed, Karim Elbarbary and Thomas Rosini are in the Molloy Cup draws, with Becker holding the fourth seed in the Molloy North draw, Elbarbary seeded third and Ahmed 12th in the Molloy East draw, and Rosini seeded sixth in the Molloy West draw.
