Men's Squash Defeats Columbia 6-3

New York, N.Y. - No. 3 Princeton men's squash opened Ivy League play with a win In New York, defeating the Columbia Lions 6-3.
The victory was the team's first win of the new year, improving Princeton's record to 2-0. Several, Princeton sweeps contributed to the Tigers win on Friday afternoon.
Daelum Mawji at the No. 1 position, Karim Elbarbary at the No. 2 position, Thomas Rosini at the No. 4 position, and Zain Ahmed at the No. 7 position all defeated their Columbia opponents 3-0.
Mawji dominated at the No. 1 position, only dropping 2 points in the second game.
At the No.9 position, Avi Agarwal came back from 2-0 down to win in 5 games and defeat Columbia's Ryan Chen 3-2.
The Lions managed to score three points against the Tigers, but Princeton came out on top to take the match 6-3.

The Tigers will return to play on Sunday for another Ivy League match against the Cornell Big Red at home in Jadwin Gymnasium at 2:30 pm.
