No. 4 Women's Squash Defeats Yale 8-1

Princeton, N.J. – Following a hard-fought loss to No. 1 Trinity College on Saturday, the Princeton Women's Squash team was determined to get back in the win column on Sunday afternoon and defeat the Yale Bulldogs in Jadwin Gymnasium.
The Tigers certainly bounced back on Sunday, defeating Yale with a final score of 8-1.
Katherine Glaser and Charlotte Bell continue to go undefeated for the season, winning eight, consecutive matches.
Caroline Spahr at the No. 4 position and Charlotte Bell at the No. 5 position, and Katherine Glaser at the No. 8 position got the first wins for the Tigers. Glaser and Spahr defeated their opponents 3-1, and Charlotte Bell swept Whitney Taylor 3-0, only dropping five points in her third, and final game.
India Stephenson at the No. 6 position, Olivia Robinson at the No. 7 position, and Lucy Stephenson at the No. 9 position added more Tiger wins for Princeton.
Despite falling to her Yale opponent in the first game 7-11, Lucy Stephenson managed to win three games straight to win the match 3-1, and secure the point for Princeton. Olivia Robinson also outscored her opponent 3-1, and India Stephenson swept Meghna Sreedhar 3-0.
Andrea Toth and Molly Chadwick closed out the match on a high note for Princeton with two victories at the No. 1 and No. 3 position.
Chadwick outscored her opponent 22-8 in the first two games, and went on to claim a 3-1 victory over her Yale opponent. Andrea Toth emerged victorious from a five game match, winning 3-2.
The Tigers secured the Win on their home court 8-1, to end the weekend on a high note.
The only Tiger loss of the day was from the No.2 position. Liyen Teoh fell to Sneha Sivakumar 2-3, in five, hard fought games against the Bulldogs.

The Tigers will return to action in Philadelphia on Saturday, Feburary 4th to face the Penn Quakers on the road for their final Ivy League opponent of the 2022-23 schedule.
