Men's Volleyball Places No.15 in 2023 AVCA Preseason Poll

Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton Men's Volleyball team will open the 2023 season ranked No. 15 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Preseason Coaches' Poll. The defending Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) champions totaled 29 points to take the No. 15 spot, right below No. 14 Lewis.
Princeton will face three teams ranked within the Top-10 this season, including UCLA at No. 2, fellow EIVA member, Penn State at No. 4, and No.5 Pepperdine.
In addition to earning the title of 2022 EIVA champions, last season the Tigers advanced to the opening round of the NCAA Tournament and recorded the second-longest winning streak in school history with 10 matches won.
The 2023 season will officially be underway when Princeton travels to Buffalo next week to take on D'Youville on Monday, January 9th. The Tigers' first home match is set for Friday, February 3rd in Dillon Gym against Sacred Heart.
