November 10, 2023 | Women's Cross Country
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Princeton women's cross country team placed 6th this year at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Fiona Max exhibited a strong run, securing the eighteenth position with a notable time of 20:20.6. Following closely, Maggie Liebich claimed the nineteenth spot, crossing the finish line with a time of 20:21.8. Tsion Yared finished in twenty-fourth place with a time of 20:44.4. Together, this trio all earned All-Region honors.
"Tough to end the season on a day when we not our best," said head coach Brad Hunt. "We aspire to be the Ivy League Champions and be at the NCAA Championships each fall. I am thankful for the three seniors, Tsion, Maggie and Fiona. We will miss their leadership in the competitive arena and in the locker room. Our young team will take all they have learned from our veteran leaders as we chase our championship aspirations in 2024."
