No. 5 Princeton to Host No. 11 Williams Saturday in Jadwin

Looking to build on its 2-0 start, the No. 5-ranked Princeton men's squash team will host No. 11 Williams on Saturday at noon in Jadwin Gym in what will be the team's last match of 2023.

Princeton won twice the week prior to Thanksgiving, defeating No. 6 Drexel 5-4 on the road on Nov. 15 and No. 14 Western Ontario 9-0 four days later in Jadwin.
Williams enters the weekend at 1-1, playing twice at home on Nov. 18 with an 8-1 loss to No. 9 Cornell and a 9-0 win over No. 26 Hamilton College. Hesham Aly, a Princeton women's assistant coach from 2018-23, leads the Ephs this season.
The Tigers have a long history with Williams, having first met during the 1938-39 season, and Princeton has won 40 straight over the Ephs, with Williams last defeating Princeton during the 1970-71 season. In Princeton, the Tigers have won 20 straight since Williams' last win on campus during the 1957-58 season. The tams last met on Nov. 21, 2021 in Jadwin, a 9-0 Tiger win. Karim Elbarbary, Thomas Rosini, Zain Ahmed, Ahmed Hussein, Gordon Lam and Will Ezratty are all current Tigers who had wins in that match.
Following the Williams match, Princeton will compete again when it starts the Ivy League season on Jan. 19 in Jadwin against Columbia.
