Men's Volleyball Ranks Second in 2024 EIVA Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, NJ - Princeton secured the second position in the 2024 EIVA Preseason Coaches Poll. Following a commendable 2023 season, where they achieved a 14-12 overall record and a notable 7-3 EIVA record, the team finds itself trailing behind only Penn State in the rankings. Additionally, the Tigers garnered recognition with one first-place vote from the conference coaches.

Sophomore Owen Mellon and junior Nyherowo Omene have also both been named 2024 EIVA players to watch.

"We are very honored to have been named second in the EIVA 2024 preseason poll," said head coach Sam Shweisky. "The goal now becomes how hard can we work to make that final season poll number as high as possible; as that is the ultimate goal!"

The Tigers are set to kick off their 2024 season on January 8th with two games against Queens University of Charlotte and they will go head-to-head with the top-seeded Penn State Nittany Lions at home on February 16th and 17th.
