
Princeton Falls Just Short to Drexel on Day 2 of Potter Cup Play

Hartford, CT - The Princeton Men's squash team fell short to the Drexel Dragons, 4-5, on day two of Potter Cup play in a competetive match up in Hartford.
Princeton saw its' first victory of the match at the No. 2 position when Karim Elbarbary swept his opponent 3-0, and then at the No. 7 position when Gordon Lam outlasted his opponent at the No. 8 position to take a dominant 3-0 victory.
Another victory came from Alhassan Khalil at the No. 5 position, where he defeated Fritiof Jacobsson in an exciting four game match, to take the win 3-1.
Alastair Cho at the No. 6 position nabbed another Tiger win, sweeping his opponent 3-0 to even the match 4-4.
With a tight and competitive post season match tied at 4-4, Federico Sosa at the No. 9 position had to battle Gautam Nagpal for the deciding, match point. Despite Sosa taking the opening two games of his match, Drexel's Gautam Nagpal fought back to win the following three games to clinch the victory and take the win over Princeton 5-4.

The Tigers continue to battle as a team throughout Potter Cup Play, and will look to end the weekend with a Tiger victory. Princeton will play Virginia in another, consolation match at 11 a.m. on Sunday, February 26th.
