Ben Harrington Earns Fourth EIVA Offensive Player of the Week Award

Princeton N.J. – Junior, Ben Harrington has earned his fourth EIVA Offensive Player of the Week honor for the 2023 season following his performance this past weekend in back to back Princeton victories.
Harrington delivered in many ways to help the Tigers earn a pair of 3-1 wins, with EIVA opponent George Mason and their first victory against a ranked opponent this season over No. 9 Loyola Chicago.
The junior outside hitter posted a dozen kills, three service aces, five digs and a block to earn a conference victory at George Mason on Friday evening.
The following day against No. 9 Loyola-Chicago, Harrington posted 18 kills, five aces, seven digs and a block.
For the weekend, he totaled 30 kills on .290 hitting with eight aces, 12 digs and two blocks. He also helped the Tiger offense with five assists.
Harrington currently leads the EIVA conference with per-set averages in kills (3.57), aces (0.73) and points (4.48). He also ranks third nationally in aces per set and 12th in points per set.
Princeton is currently 10-10 for the 2023 season and 4-2 in conference matches. Up next, the Tigers will face the George Mason Patriots at home on Saturday, April 1st beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Dillon Gymnasium.
