Brady Wedbush Named EIVA Offensive Player of the Week

Princeton, N.J. - Senior Brady Wedbush has been named the final EIVA Offensive Player of the Week for the 2023 regular season on April 17th, 2023.
Wedbush delivered from the net and the service line to help land a key 3-1 conference victory over NJIT. The senior outside hitter notched a career-high 15 kills, with only one error to hit .636 in No. 15 Princeton's win over the Highlanders on April 14th. Wedbush also put in a career-high six service aces, plus four digs, a block and an assist. This marks the first weekly EIVA honor of Wedbush's season and second of his career.
The victory in the Tigers' final game of the regular season was the ninth win in their last 14 matches and secured Princeton second place in the EIVA standings to earn a first-round bye in the upcoming EIVA Championship Tournament. Heading into this weeks' playoffs, the Tigers land at No. 15 on the latest edition of the AVCA National Coaches Poll.
Princeton will play in the EIVA semifinals on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. against the winner of the No. 3 Charleston vs No. 6 NJIT match at Rec Hall in University Park PA.
