Softball Quartet Earns College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Honors

While helping the Princeton softball team to the Ivy League title in 2023, Cate Bade, Caitlin Bish, Molly Chambers and Adrienne Chang have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, the organization has announced.
Honorees had to meet GPA and on-field competition minimums in order to qualify for the honor.
Bade, a junior infielder/outfielder and economics major, competed in 48 of the team's 49 games, making 34 starts. Bade's 17 hits came across 14 games, including a three-hit game against Columbia on April 8.Â
Bish, a junior infielder and neuroscience major, had her 17 hits across 16 games, getting two hits at Brown on March 26. Bish played in 39 games, making 21 starts.
Chambers, a junior pitcher and a student in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, had a 6-3 record with a 3.66 ERA in 72 2/3 innings across 27 appearances with 11 starts.
Chang, a senior catcher/utility player and molecular biology major, finished third on the team with a .303 batting average on the season, starting all 49 games and tying for the team lead with 28 RBI. Chang had 12 multi-hit games, getting three hits in an April 15 game at Cornell.
