Top-10 Opponents Ahead for Fencers at Philadelphia Invitational

Several fellow top-10 opponents are ahead for the No. 1-ranked Princeton women and No. 3-ranked Princeton men's fencing teams when they head to Philadelphia for the two-day Elite Invitational, set for Friday at Temple and Sunday at Penn.

The meet is the first of 2024 for the fencing teams. The men's team competed at duals hosted by Ohio State and Sacred Heart during the 2023 portion of the schedule, going 9-1, and the women competed at the Ohio State meet, going 4-2.

All of the top-10 opponents are on the Sunday portion of the meet at Penn, in Notre Dame, Duke, Ohio State and Penn State. The full schedule is below.

Following the weekend in Philadelphia, the Tigers will host Wagner in a dual on Jan. 24 in the Stan Sieja Fencing Room.
