Fencing Teams to Host Wagner, Visit LIU Event This Week

A visit from one New York City team and a visit to another are on the docket this week for the Princeton fencing teams, who will host Wagner in a Wednesday morning meet before going to LIU for the Tri-State Showcase on Sunday.

Wednesday's 10 a.m. meet with Wagner, to be held in the Stan Sieja Fencing Room, will not have spectators.

Sunday's schedule in Brooklyn will match Princeton's teams against two fellow top-10 Ivy League opponents, with the No. 1-ranked Princeton women taking on No. 3 Columbia and No. 7 Penn as well as No. 13 St. John's and host LIU, and the No. 3-ranked Princeton men taking on No. 2 Columbia, No. 7 Penn as well as No. 8 St. John's and the host Sharks.

The meets will be the last before the Ivy League Championships, held Feb. 10-11 also in New York, at Columbia.
