
Men’s Volleyball Earns No. 14 Spot in 2024 AVCA National Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, NJ - The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced today that the Princeton men's volleyball team ranked No. 15 in the 2024 AVCA/NVA National Collegiate MVB Coaches Poll.

Last season, the Tigers held the No. 15 ranking in the preseason and ended the season at the No. 14 spot, accumulating a total 46 points.
Princeton's slate this year will feature four 2024 AVCA Preseason Poll Top-10 opponents including No. 4 UC Irvine, No. 6 Penn State, No. 9 BYU and No. 10 Loyola-Chicago.
The Tigers will open their 2024 campaign with a two-game series against Queens University of Charlotte on January 8th and 9th, both with a 6:00 PM start time.
Schedule order of all preseason ranked opponents for 2024:

No. 13 Pepperdine
No. 19 Lincoln Memorial
No. 6 Penn State

Shweisky's Remarks
"We're excited about the challenges that lie ahead in the 2024 season," said head coach Sam Shweisky. "Facing top-notch opponents right out of the gate will help us focus on playing some really high-level volleyball early." Being ranked No. 14 in the poll adds to some excitement, but it gives us motivation to chase those higher rankings. We're ready and eager to prove ourselves out there this season."
