
Schott Sets New Pool Record, Princeton Wins Two Relays on Day 2 of Big Al

PRINCETON, N.J. – With a strong performance that featured two relay victories and a new pool record in the 400 IM, the Princeton men's swimming & diving program continued with day two of its annual Big Al Invitational on Saturday at DeNunzio Pool.
After day two, Princeton leads in both the swimming and diving team standings.
Princeton swept the 400 IM with three Tigers recording D1 B times. Mitchell Schott set a new pool record with a first place finish of 3:40.69. Arthur Balva took second with a time of 3:46.97, while Maxwell Seidel took third with a time of 3:47.35.
In the 800 freestyle relay, Princeton won again with Schott, Balva, Parker Lenice and Maximilian Hunger taking first place with a time of 6:22.07. The group of Noah Sech, Lucas Tudoras, Daniel Li and Devyn Caples also took third, swimming 6:32.74.
Princeton also took first in the 200 medley relay with Tyler Hong, Andrew Zou, McKenna Conor and Brett Feyerick swimming a time of 1:25.84.
Hong also won the 100 backstroke, swimming 46.49 for a D1 B time.
In the 100 butterfly, Conor McKenna took first place with a time of 46.86.
Hunger took second in the 200 freestyle, swimming 1:36.25.
For diving, Aidan Wang took first place in the 1m, continuing his unbeaten streak in the event this season.

Princeton will continue with the third and final day of the Big Al Invitational tomorrow in DeNunzio.
