Miles Gunty Named ECAC Rookie Of The Week

Freshman forward Miles Gunty has been named Bitcoin ECAC Rookie of the Week after a three-point weekend for the Tigers in a sweep of Union and RPI at Hobey Baker Rink.
Gunty had three assists over the two games, including assists on both goals in a 2-1 win over Union on Friday night and a helper on the game-winning power-play goal in Saturday's win over RPI.
He is now tied for 40th overall among rookies in assists this season with five, and he is 6th among ECAC rookiesin helpers. His 0.5 assists-per-game is 20th in the country among first-year players.
This marks the second week in a row that a Princeton rookie has been named ECAC Rookie of the Week, following up Jake Manfre who earned the award after a four-point weekend in a sweep of No. 12 Ohio State at Baker Rink.
