No. 15 Men's Volleyball Sweeps No. 17 George Mason

PRINCETON, NJ - The No. 15 Princeton Tigers regained momentum in EIVA action as they swept No. 17 George Mason on Friday evening at Dillon Gym, securing a 3-0 victory (25-18, 25-20, 25-23). Demonstrating dominance, the Tigers held a .276 hitting percentage compared to the Patriots' .160.
Leading the charge for Princeton was Ben Harrington with an impressive 14 kills, closely followed by Nyherowo Omene with 9. Notably, Harrington secured 6 kills in the opening set alone. The Tigers also outpaced the Patriots in total kills, boasting 39 to their opponent's 31.
Harrington showcased his prowess from the service line, tallying 4 aces, while Jameson Vaccaro grabbed his first service ace of his collegiate career.
On the defensive front, Tristan Whitfield led the Tigers with 7 blocks, while Henry Wedbush achieved a season-high 5 blocks alongside 31 assists.
With this victory, the Tigers advance to 8-8 for the season and 2-3 in conference play, reaffirming their competitive standing in the league.
"We were able to put together a lot of good volleyball tonight," said head coach Sam Shweisky. "We love being back in Dillon so it was great to get a win in front of our fans again. I'm confident taking this team on the road for the next couple of weeks with very crucial matches ahead of us"
