Harrington Secures His Third EIVA Offensive Player of the Week Recognition

PRINCETON, NJ - During the final week of non-conference action of the 2024 season, Harrington had two standout performances. The senior pin hitter recorded 23 kills while hitting at an impressive .436 clip, along with contributing an assist, seven digs, and a pair of blocks against No. 11 Loyola Chicago. The following match, he tallied a career-high 25 kills on .409 hitting and tied his career-high 27 points, which he had against NJIT on 4/23/2022. Harrington also amassed seven digs and three blocks, including a solo block, leading the Tigers to a 3-2 victory against FDU.
Throughout the past week of competition, Ben tallied a total of 48 kills with a hitting percentage of .422, one assist, 14 digs, and five blocks. The senior has reached double digit kills in eight of last nine matches and 12 times thus far. Ben has surpassed 20 kills in 2024 and a total of seven throughout his career. Harrington earns his third EIVA weekly award this season and it marks the seventh in his career.
