No. 15 Men's Volleyball Drops Five-Set Match to No. 19 George Mason

PRINCETON, NJ - In a thrilling showdown this Saturday evening at the RAC, in Fairfax, Virginia, the No. 15 Princeton men's volleyball team fell to the No. 19 George Mason squad in a gripping five-set thriller. The match unfolded with intense back-and-forth action throughout. Despite Princeton's efforts, George Mason came out on top with a final scoreline of 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 17-25, 12-15.
Princeton's offensive prowess was evident as they racked up 56 kills over George Mason's 55. Leading the charge for the Tigers was Ben Harrington, whose stellar performance saw him tally an impressive 21 kills with a hitting percentage of .385. Behind him, Nyherowo Omene contributed 12 kills, while Jameson Vaccaro added 10 kills to the team's total.
The Tigers' serving game was also noteworthy, with Ryan Vena and Ben Harrington each notching 2 service aces, and Nyherowo Omene adding one of his own to the scoreboard. In the defensive department, Matt Suh and Henry Wedbush combined for a total of 15 digs. Wedbush further demonstrated his defensive prowess, totaling 3 blocks alongside the team's collective effort of 7 blocks.
After having been on the road since March 1st, the Tigers will return to Dillon Gym on April 5th to take on NJIT at 7:00 P.M.
